Geoffrey really splurged and surprised me with a trip to Belize! It was amazing... pure paradise! And much needed considering we'd never really traveled together, the stress of a wedding and being surrounded by 100 people at all times, and surviving the semester of wedding planning and trying to finish my fieldwork rotation. Thank you God for this place of peace for us.
Things we did:
1. Overnight cave expedition... crazy!
2. Repelling over the Black Hole
3. Hiking to and swimming in the Blue Hole
4. Zip lining through the rainforest
5. Scrabble and drinking "panty-rippers" by the tropical pool
